In 2024, CEO, Cecile founded A Light in the Dark Foundation with a deep, personal mission—to provide single and divorced mothers in the Metro Atlanta area with the support, resources, and community they need to rebuild their lives. As a mother who has walked the difficult road of starting over with little to no help, Cecile understands the overwhelming challenges that come with trying to make ends meet, nourish your family, and find a way forward. ​ After experiencing firsthand the isolation and struggle of raising children alone without support, Cecile knew something had to be done. She wanted to create more than just a foundation—she wanted to create a safe haven where women could find the strength to heal, rebuild, and thrive. A Light in the Dark Foundation was born out of Cecile’s passion to empower single and divorced mothers, offering them not only financial assistance, but also emotional support, mentorship, and a network of women who truly understand their journey. ​ At A Light in the Dark, we believe that every mother deserves the opportunity to succeed, no matter her circumstances. Our goal is to shine a light on the paths of those who feel lost, giving them the tools and resources to create a brighter future for themselves and their children.
